Nursing Assistant/ Patient Transporter Radiology Full Time Days Position Summary:
The Nursing Assistant/ Patient transporter is a staff member trained to provide personal care and supportive services to the Radiology department. Responsibilities of a Nursing Assistant/patient transporter, involving the safe and comfortable movement of patients and medical equipment throughout the Radiology Department, along with some patient care duties like changing linens or assisting patients. This position ensures efficient patient flow, maintains safety protocols, and requires strong communication and organizational skills to handle the moving of patients, equipment, and supplies.
Nurse Assistant /Patient Transporter Radiology Full Time Days Position Requirements:

EDUCATION:

  1. GED or High School Graduate required.

EXPERIENCE:

Six month of previous nursing assistant and/or patient transporter experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Current BLS (American Heart Association only) certification.
  • Works in an indoor fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
  • Lengthy periods of standing and walking
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds for moving and lifting patients
