Description

Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department. Responsible for the completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the patient and the RN. Required Qualifications: * Coursework/Training: Completion of Medical Terminology course or, * Successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire * National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire * 6 months Working with individuals who have mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
