OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering a wide range of nursing services and working closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and the wider primary care network.
The role is approximately 30 hours a week, and the guide salary starts from £15.
Both the hours and salary are negotiable, and the salary will depend on experience.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REGISTRATION

  • Registered Nurse (current NMC registration).
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Experience of working within a clinical environment.
  • Experience of managing a range of long-term conditions (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Experience in health promotion and patient education.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practice, clinical guidelines, and professional standards.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Proficient in core nursing skills (e.g., wound care, immunisations, cervical cytology or willingness to train).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good IT skills, with the ability to use clinical systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
  • Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages
  • Undertake chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)
  • Deliver routine nursing duties including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and health checks
  • Support patients with health promotion and lifestyle advice
  • Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, and health improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with practice policies and NMC guidelines
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical records.
  • Participate in infection control and vaccination campaigns, including seasonal flu clinics.
