Provide compassionate patient focused care and perform select duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure, monitor and record temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures. Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care. This is a part-time night position (11 p.m. – 7 a.m. / 29 hours/week) at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens location. Every weekend required for the first 2 years of employment. Required Criteria: • Previous Nurse’s Aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aide training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum • BLS from AHA • HS Diploma/GED • Must be able to complete mandatory 2 week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
