Under the direction of the Headquarters Chief Nurse Executive of the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) or designee, the Nursing Consultant, Program Review (NCPR) is responsible for supporting the development and statewide deployment of the Complete Care Model (CCM), ISUDT, CalAIM and other clinical initiatives at CDCR and CCHCS. The NCPR provides program consultation, assist with program development and implementation. This position has the possibility of travel up to 80% of the time to any CDCR institution with limited notice.
This position is located in the Nursing Services Branch, which provides essential leadership and institutional support advocating positive change to promote quality in the provision of safe, efficient, and competent nursing care in all service line delivery areas, including inpatient, outpatient, specialty care, and TTA/R&R/Reception Center. Additionally, the headquarters Chief Nurse Executives provide statewide program guidance to nursing service lines at all 35 institutions and support nursing practice through the assessment of processes, policies and procedures, protocols, clinical decision support tools, nursing curriculum and competencies, and the deployment of nursing resources to assist and support the goal of continuous quality improvement.

Up to 80% travel is required to institution.
The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
