JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for managing the credentialing for agencies that KabaFusion holds contracts with for nursing services. This position also assists with finding nursing agencies in service areas in collaboration with the VP of Nursing Networks and works closely with the branch nursing teams, assisting with coordination for outsourced patients.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate in a consultative manner via telephone.
  • Ability to demonstrate MS Excel skills including report creation, editing and Pivot Table creation.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
  • Proficient organizational skills and prioritizes work independently, knows when to contact manager for support.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree in business or related field or in lieu of degree, related healthcare work experience as a scheduler, care coordinator or similar position.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in home healthcare, home infusion or relevant detail-oriented administrative positions.
Responsibilities
  1. Sends necessary documents to newly contracted agencies for credentialing and updates agencies of any changes to be implemented.
  2. Creates nursing agency Contract/BAA for new agencies, obtains agency assessment tool, licenses, and credentialing documents. Provides fully executed contracts back to agencies.
  3. Enters the agency contracts and credentials into the Contract Logix database.
  4. Obtains and maintains updated agency credentialing and provides quarterly report to the LicensingTeam.
  5. Maintains agencies contracts for branches in Nursing Contract SharePoint.
  6. Updates pricing spreadsheet as needed when items change.
  7. Assists with finding home health agencies or staffing agencies as needed for new territories.
  8. Assists KabaFusion sites with contract agency support and coordination of care as needed.
  9. Directs communication about contracted agencies clinical and/or billing issues to the VP of Nursing Networks in a timely manner.
  10. Assists Nursing Invoice Auditors as assigned.
  11. Works with KabaFusion contract nursing education staff to schedule training with agencies as identified needs arise.
  12. Provides support with administrative tasks as needed.
  13. Performs other related duties as required by the supervisor.
