Description

An opportunity has arisen within our Company for a Deputy Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and be an RGN or RMN with an active PIN.
The full-time position will be supportive to the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home. The position is primarily worked Monday – Friday. However, on-call duties will be shared with the Registered Manager, including the role of the ‘Duty Manager’.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Good IT / Clerical Skills
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Willing to undertake any required ‘in-house’ training for this post

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance with the Management of the day-to-day running of the home
  • Ensuring high standards of care are being delivered safely in line with legislation
  • Working with the Registered Manager to develop an ethos that reflects residents’ individual needs.
  • Ensure all staff are working in accordance with the Codes of Professional Practice for Social Care Wales
  • Participate in weekly Manager / Deputy Meetings to communicate the needs and movements of residents and staff in the home.
