NURSING HOME MANAGER

Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Salary: £77,000 per annum + 10% bonus
Hours: 40 per week
Requirements: Valid NMC Nursing PIN + previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established, high-quality care home in the beautiful town of Windsor.
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven leader with a proven track record of managing nursing homes to an Good or Outstanding CQC rating. You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and personal care, resident satisfaction, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and ensure the home operates at or above a “Good” rating.
  • Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, and medication management, ensuring safe and effective practices.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and resources to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident wellbeing and service quality.

About You

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with an active NMC PIN – essential.
  • Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager in a nursing home setting.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving and maintaining Good CQC ratings.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop your team.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Financially astute, with experience managing budgets and driving occupancy.
  • Passionate about providing the highest standards of care and improving resident quality of life.
