COMMISSIONING NURSING HOME MANAGER - £60K - COLWYN BAY

Location: Colwyn Bay
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with an active NMC registration.
  • Significant experience in mental health nursing, including a strong background in mental health assessment and care planning.
  • Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and service users.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and regulations.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide expert clinical guidance and support to the nursing team, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our service users.
  • Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of nurses and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance processes to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for service users, focusing on holistic mental health care.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently while maintaining the highest level of care.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of our service users, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
