Are you an experienced and compassionate leader nursing care? We’re looking for a dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead our well-established nursing home in South Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and the development of our committed care team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in a nursing home or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles.
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and healthcare regulations.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with financial management and budget control.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As our Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursing home.
  • Inspire and support a diverse team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that enhance care quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance development of staff.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively without compromising care standards.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee admissions, assessments, and person-centred care planning.
  • Proactively handle any concerns, complaints, or incidents.
  • Conduct audits and use feedback to continuously improve services
