QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally able to work in Ontario
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Proven demonstrated initiative
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work remotely as required
  • Previous experience working with the elderly population an asset
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Chinese, Japanese or a South-Asian language required for some positions
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Responsibilities
  • Assists in establishing a system of retention and maintenance of residents’ records and chart audits in compliance with legislation
  • Supports Infection Prevention and Control Program including hand hygiene audits, chart audits of resident immunization history, etc.
  • Assists in planning, preparing and implementing quality improvement programs. Performs audit, data entry, generation of reports. Analyses and evaluates data, and prepares presentation of program outcome
  • Performs mask fit testing
  • Assist with care plan audits
  • Provides general administrative support to the Nursing department
