Crowley County Nursing Center is a respected long-term care facility in Ordway, Colorado. We are actively recruiting for Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Pay Rates by Role • Registered Nurse (RN): $38.00 – $45.00/hr (based on experience) • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $31.00 – $37.00/hr (based on experience) • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): $18.50 – $21.50/hr (based on experience) Registered Nurse (RN)Responsibilities • Assess and evaluate resident care across the facility • Supervise nursing staff to meet resident needs in compliance with state and federal regulations • Conduct nursing assessments and make daily rounds on condition changes, critical residents, and behavioral concerns • Maintain communication with physicians, families, staff, and the community • Supervise scheduling consistent with staff education, training, and experience • Supervise daily accuracy and completeness of resident health records • Report changes in resident condition to physicians and families promptly • Audit charts for omissions and errors; investigate incident reports • Assume charge nurse duties in an emergency as needed • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active Colorado RN license • 1 year of recent experience in long-term care preferred • Demonstrated skills in management, team building, and communication • Ability to lift/move objects 50 lbs frequently; up to 100 lbs occasionally Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Responsibilities • Assess and evaluate resident care; supervise nursing staff and activities • Coordinate all resident services and facilitate interdisciplinary team communication • Complete nursing assessments as requested; monitor and report condition changes • Supervise and maintain the accuracy of resident health records • Make daily rounds on condition changes, critical residents, and behavioral concerns • Audit charts for omissions and errors; investigate incident reports • Support staff orientation and training on facility policies and procedures • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited LPN program with active Colorado LPN license • 1 year of recent long-term care experience preferred • Ability to train new staff on facility policies and procedures • Ability to lift 50 lbs minimum; strong organizational and communication skills Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2 openings available — Evening and Night shifts. Responsibilities • Assist residents with all activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and meal assistance • Answer resident call lights promptly and respond to needs throughout the shift • Take and record vital signs; measure and record intake and output • Assist residents to and from the bathroom; maintain cleanliness for incontinent residents • Transport residents to activities, therapy, recreation, and other areas of the facility • Observe and report changes in resident condition, attitude, and appetite to the supervising nurse • Apply aseptic technique in all resident care to prevent infection • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care of residents in isolation Qualifications • Must hold current Colorado CNA certification • Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred • Ability to lift, push, or pull in excess of 50 lbs; occasionally up to 160 lbs • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to resident dignity and comfort.
Responsibilities
