Responsibilities/Job Description:
This position is a 0.6 FTE (48 hours per 2 week pay period), 8 hour day and evening shifts and rotating weekends. The schedule alternates weeks of early and late shifts. The shift times start as early as 0445 on days and 1400 on evenings.

OUR START TIMES INCLUDE 0445, 0500, 0530, 0900, 1030, 11, 12, AND 1400. EMPLOYEES CAN WORK A VARIETY OF THESE SHIFTS DURING THEIR EARLY/LATE WEEKS AND THIS WILL NOT BE A CONSISTENT START TIME.

The University of Minnesota Medical Center is looking for Nursing Station Technicians to join our perianesthesia team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required. Ontrack participants much be able to obtain Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification upon completion of the OnTrack program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a Health Unit Coordinator, Nursing Assistant, or other related experience

• Patient care such as personal hygiene, vitals, daily activities, repositioning, transporting, and feeding
