Position Summary The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of nursing operations throughout the hospital during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality patient care, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective staffing and resource management. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred). * Minimum of 3–5 years of recent acute care nursing experience. * Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred. LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS * Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida. * BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required. * ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) required. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment. * Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of hospital operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards. * Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the hospital for extended periods. * Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. WORK SCHEDULE (PER-DIEM) * Flexible schedule able to work both Day and Night, as needed. Weekends as needed.
