JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, ambitious Nursing Manager to join our growing RX Connect Specialty Pharmacy Team. The Nursing Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Nurses, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to provide high-quality care to our patients.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified RPN or RN license (valid provincial license from the College of Nurses)
• Healthcare provider CPR certificate required
• ACLS certification required
• Liability insurance required
• Minimum 3 years experience as a nurse
• Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting are considered assets
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook (e-mail), and MS Word
• Excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and our clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of nurses, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, address concerns, and facilitate communication.
• Provide ongoing training, education, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, management, and other healthcare departments.
• Educate and train patients on medications in the clinics setting(s)
• Monitor treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by Physician protocols
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
• Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to support patient care activities.
• Provide patient education based on protocols, individually or in groups
• Regular, predictable availability to meet appointment scheduling needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner to provide patients with quick access to necessary therapies
• Sustain relations with key stakeholders, Clients, Physicians and other Health Care Professionals
• Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs
• Perform related duties and tasks as required
