SUMMARY

The Nutrition and Feeds Research Manager will lead and execute research and development activities focused on innovative feed products, nutritional solutions, and technologies for livestock and companion animals. This role will manage projects from concept to commercialization, collaborates cross-functionally, and provides scientific and technical leadership to support the company’s growth and competitive advantage in the animal nutrition and feed industry.
The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Masters of Science (Animal Science, Dairy Science) is required with a PhD preferred (Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, Animal Sciences). Our ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of related work experience
• Understanding of feed analysis
• Understanding of feed formulation
• Understanding of sales and marketing in the feed industry
• Understanding of experimental design
• Understanding of data analysis and interpretation

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150’), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Able to use standard office and communication equipment. Required to travel to remote Company facilities and travel to meetings with suppliers and customers.

• Develop and lead R&D projects for new feed products, premixes, additives, or nutritional programs.
