Job Details Job Location: Trinity Homes (06) - Minot, ND 58701 Position Type: Casual Salary Range: $15.00 - $21.00 Hourly Job Shift: Days/Evenings Job Category: Facilities & General Service We desire individuals who have a passion for helping people, who thrive in a team environment, and who want to make a difference. The individual must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday. They will maintain a high level of sanitation in the individual work areas and the department. The Nutrition Services Aide will serve meals to the residents according to their prescribed diets and needs. Will display excellent customer service skills. Will uphold the department standards and expectations at all times. Will uphold the ServiceFirst principles, keeping in mind the resident’s safety and quality at all times. Qualifications Licenses and Certifications Required Prefers food-handlers permit. Educational Requirements Preferably possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent. Able to read and write English, able to follow oral and written directions, and 16 years of age or older. Experience Requirements Has a working knowledge of the importance of the various therapeutic and consistency altered diets and their preparation. Possesses skills in food preparation, food service, food safety and sanitation skills. Working knowledge of kitchen utensils and food preparation equipment. Preferably have experience and knowledge in food service and sanitation and food safety. Special Skills or Training Requirements Ability to work independently and under direct supervision. Ability to satisfy customers’ needs and desires (within the facility polices/procedures). Good oral and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of local, state and federal regulations related to food, sanitation, food safety, food service etc. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Requires the ability to cooperate with supervisor, department heads and other staff.
Responsibilities
The Nutrition Assistant will serve meals to residents according to their prescribed diets and maintain high sanitation standards. They will also display excellent customer service skills and uphold department standards.
