KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead

  • Identify and define clinical program plans for the NS&I Team.
  • Develop Clinical Science Education Content for the Wellbeing Team.
  • Be the clinical design expert in project contexts by developing and executing clinical program plans.
  • Ensure data management and statistics analysis plans for clinical program projects are fit for purpose.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to optimize transfer of new scientific insights and clinical study results.
  • Develops scientific positions and viewpoints relevant to the business.
  • Anticipates and manages potential business issues by predicting and responding to external scientific developments in the field

Support (within the broader NS&I/ International team)

  • Support evidence generation activities through development and execution of NS&I clinical plans and the broader Collective.
  • Support identification and relationship building of Key Opinion Leaders and other scientific engagement activities such as Advisory Boards, Symposiums at Scientific Congress, etc.
  • Support development of digital tools for NS&I team, specifically in the areas of clinical data archival and fit for purpose storage for future modelling.
  • Partner with Nutritional Sciences to support ingredient evaluation pipelines through clinical study validation.
Responsibilities

The Nutrition Clinical Scientist will play a critical role in the Nutritional Sciences and Innovation team. They will be responsible for providing 1) key clinical support for ingredient/product substantiation and fundamental clinical research to underpin the science behind product claims. The Nutrition Clinical Scientist will provide subject matter expertise in clinical science for Our Operating Companies and our Benefit Platforms: Hydration, Beauty from Within, Women’s Health, and Sleep.
The role requires the ability to translate science into differentiated and meaningful business applications. The role also requires the ability to work within a small agile core team and influence a matrix organization. Strong people and networking skills and a true passion for innovation also required. The role reports to Clinical Development Associate Director, Nutritional Sciences and Innovation (NS&I), Wellbeing and will interface with the Global WBC teams and Operating Companies.
