Description The Nutrition Driver provides for the safe packing and delivery of meals to eligible seniors aged 60 and older living in Crawford County, OH. Duties: 1. Deliver meals to Seniors living in Crawford County, OH. 2. Keep delivery vehicle clean and report need for vehicle maintenance to Supervisor. 3. Place specified number of pre-packaged meals into delivery containers. 4. Must maintain and record appropriate temperatures regularly. 5. Accurately deliver meals to clients and obtain any required signatures/times from clients. 6. Must collect donations from specified clients. 7. Communicate with nutrition department any problems, observations, questions, etc. regarding meals program or consumers. 8. Perform kitchen and packing and cleaning duties as needed. 9. Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Coordinator. Requirements Qualifications: 1. Valid Ohio Driver's License 2. Proof of Automobile liability insurance 3. Ability to work cooperatively with others, particularly elderly individuals 4. Ability to maintain a strong attendance record 5. Possess ability to work in challenging weather conditions 6. Possess good organizational skills and able to work under s specified timeline 7. Possess functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area and the ability to read street and road maps and find unfamiliar locations 8. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and random alcohol and drug testing 9. Must be free of disqualifying offenses per criminal background check Physical Requirements: 1. Must be able to lift 30 pounds 2. Must maintain a clean and neat appearance and practice good hygiene 3. Must be able to operate motor vehicle 4. Must be able to communicate with agency via cell phone or 2-way radio
