NUTRITIONIST

Healthy Planet is looking for an experienced Product Specialist to assist with the sales and operations of Healthy Planet. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating and explaining products, methods or services while processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently. This position is perfect for a team player who has a strong background in holistic health, nutrition, health and wellness, customer service and is passionate about living an active lifestyle!

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have knowledge of natural health, including vitamins, supplements, and nutrition. Candidates with a CCN " certified clinical nutritionist” or Equivalent designation preferred.
• 1-2 years of Health Product Knowledge is an asset
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• On going and up to date knowledge regarding nutrition trends and attaining optimal health
• Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with customers, peers and management
• Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting and climbing ladders
• Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. Must be available to work on Friday, Saturday & Sundays.

• Process transactions via POS system
• Comply with all company rules, regulations, policies and sanitation standards
