Summer Internship Opportunities: Investment Underwriting: Assist in the financial modelling and analysis of potential real estate acquisitions across multiple property types and geographies in Europe. Build and maintain detailed discounted cash flow models, sensitivity analyses, and return projections to evaluate investment opportunities against established return thresholds and risk parameters.. Presentations & Proposals: Prepare detailed product presentations, proposals, and recommendations. Asset Management: Assist the team with the Asset Management of the portfolio under management, such as capex initiatives, reporting/ presentations to clients, assess leasing proposals, etc… What You’ll Get throughout the Internship: 10-Week Program: Participate in a robust training curriculum, company functions, speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and social networking events for career growth and personal development. Hands-On Experience: Attend business meetings, deliver presentations, explore business-specific tasks, contribute to projects, and work closely with cross-functional groups. What We’re Looking For: Academic Excellence: On track for at least 7.0 - 8.9: Notable (Very Good) at higher undergraduate degree (or equivalent). Investment Management Knowledge & Interest: Academic background or demonstrated interest in Finance or Real Estate E.g. Relevant coursework; active participation in investment clubs; managing a virtual portfolio; following market commentary; reading financial news Technical skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, financial modelling, and data analysis. Familiarity with financial statements and real estate metrics such as cap rates, IRR, NOI, and cash-on-cash returns. Experience with Argus Enterprise, CoStar, REIS, or other real estate software is a plus but not required. Analytical Capabilities: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to synthesize complex information, identify key drivers of investment performance, and communicate findings clearly and concisely through written reports and presentations. Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish and preferably a third language. Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written and verbal communications tailored to different audiences. E.g. You should be comfortable in preparing client ready emails, delivering presentations to a small group of your team or writing reports that inform decision-making. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings by actively listening to others' perspectives, contributing constructively to group discussions. E.g. You should be able to adapt your working style to help deliver team goals & objectives. Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand business problems from multiple angles, identify key drivers of outcomes, and propose solutions that balance competing priorities. E.g. Be able to demonstrate interest in understanding investment principles and how client needs align with product offerings. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong competency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & advanced in Excel). E.g. Creating financial models, using pivot tables, INDEXMATCH, data visualization, building scripts for data analysis, and automating tasks. Initiative and Ownership: Track record of taking ownership of projects or responsibilities without constant supervision. E.g. You should be able to proactively identify problems and propose solutions, ensuring regular communication with where appropriate. Due to high volume of applications: We will only consider students in their penultimate year graduating in 2026 or 2027. We will only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the country for where the internship is located. You must be able to work the internship dates from May/ June till July/August, depending on when the university course ends and annual leave of team members during the summer break.
