Job Description

We are looking for a NVH Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:

  • test-measure and analyze vibroacoustic data, in order to develop quiet and comfortable tractor product designs;
  • support development activities aimed at addressing acoustic and vibration problems with existing products;
  • Work in the NVH team in everyday work, contributing technically to perform the tests required.
  • Potential focus areas include:
  • structural dynamics, vibration, acoustic simulation and testing;
  • systems and subsystems components (engine, gears, pump, pipe layout, …) noise;
  • acoustic radiation;
  • acoustic mitigation methods (cabin isolation);
  • The Candidate shall work closely with various product, component and vehicle development teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Degree or Physics (with focus in Acoustics and Vibration is a plus);
  • NVH simulation background (either FEM or Multi-Body Dynamics or both) is a plus;
  • Knowledge in testing, and optimization for durability, reliability, sound, vibration;
  • Experience or knowledge in LMS Test.Lab is due, knowledge of FEM/MBD SW’s (such as ANSYS, Optistruct, ADAMS) would be considered a plus;
  • The candidate will have to be fully autonomous and responsible vehicle setup definition before verification by proper tools selection and locations to make the measurements;
  • The candidate has to have capability to produce final test report (data analysis/elaboration) with clear and technical information, to facilitate problems resolution;
  • Good level of interpersonal and relationship skills;
  • Good (Technical) English language knowledge.
