Company Link: http://www.segula.in/en Job Description ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, set up, and execute detailed finite element (FE) models of automotive components and full vehicle assemblies for NVH analysis. - Interpret simulation results, identify root causes of NVH issues, and propose design modifications or countermeasures to improve vehicle NVH performance. - Collaborate closely with design teams to integrate NVH performance targets into the product development process from concept to production. - Develop and implement advanced CAE methodologies and best practices for NVH analysis, contributing to continuous improvement of simulation capabilities. - Correlate simulation results with physical test data to validate models and improve prediction accuracy. - Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing analysis findings, recommendations, and progress to cross-functional teams and management. - Stay current with the latest advancements in NVH engineering, CAE software, and automotive industry trends. - Participate in design reviews and provide expert NVH input. - Deliver Program virtual milestones. - Support cross-functional teams to deliver cost and weight objectives. Proficiency with one or more leading CAE software packages for structural and acoustic analysis (e.g., NVH Console, ANSA, HyperMesh, Abaqus, Nastran, OptiStruct). - Strong theoretical understanding of vibration, acoustics, structural dynamics, and finite element methods. - Experience with pre-processing, solving, and post-processing of large-scale FE models. - Ability to analyse complex data, draw sound conclusions, and communicate technical information effectively. - Knowledge of material properties and their influence on NVH performance. - Experience with optimization techniques and tools for NVH performance. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Analytical thinking and strong diagnostic abilities. - Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. - Team player with strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
