We currently have a need for a NYSDOL Certified Asbestos Inspector/Project Monitor/Air Sampling Technician for multiple projects in Albany.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection of asbestos bulk samples
  • Preparation of written reports summarizing findings of sampling
  • Conducting NYSDOL required asbestos air sampling and project monitoring on active asbestos abatement projects

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience
  • Asbestos Certification required
  • Additional Asbestos, Lead, Mold and OSHA a plus
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractors
  • Ability to compile all findings in a detailed report
  • Works well independently
