SAP S/4HANA Change Manager

Duration: Contract, outside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

Location: UK with occasional travel to Europe

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Change Manager to lead the organisational change management workstream for an SAP S/4HANA implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business is prepared for the transition, driving user adoption and managing the people-side impacts of the transformation across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the overall change management strategy and plan for the SAP S/4HANA transformation.
Conduct stakeholder impact assessments to identify changes to business processes, roles, responsibilities and ways of working.
Lead stakeholder engagement and communications to ensure alignment and buy-in across the organisation.
Develop and oversee training strategies, materials and end-user training programmes.
Manage business readiness activities, including change impact assessments, readiness assessments and adoption tracking.
Work closely with SAP functional leads, programme management and business stakeholders to embed new processes and ways of working.
Identify and manage resistance to change, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and drive user engagement.
Monitor change adoption, measure effectiveness and report progress, risks and issues to programme leadership.

Required Experience

Proven experience as an SAP Change Manager on large-scale SAP transformation programmes.
Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations or upgrades.
Expertise in organisational change management, stakeholder engagement, communications and training.
Experience conducting change impact assessments and business readiness activities.
Strong understanding of SAP-enabled business process changes and their impact on end users.
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work across business and technical teams in a complex programme environment.
