Main tasks and responsibilities: In collaboration with our competence center in Belgium, you will be responsible for implementing a long-term asset management strategy and translating it into annual maintenance plans to ensure that the offshore high-voltage substation and its foundations can reach their full lifespan. To ensure high-quality aftercare of the substation, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Providing qualitative analyses, reports, and recommendations to manage the assets and prepare reports at the company level;
  • Managing framework agreements with contractors and service providers to develop long-term relationships;
  • Coordinating and monitoring planned maintenance work on the assets while minimizing the impact on production - the maintenance work is largely performed by subcontractors;
  • Coordinating unplanned maintenance requests - including investigating, analyzing, and resolving ad hoc issues;
  • Managing Development and implementation of corrective and adaptive improvement actions to ensure the durability and full service life of the assets;
  • Implementation of the O&M strategy defined by our Competence Center and adaptation of the strategy to local conditions by analyzing the information collected during offshore inspection campaigns;
  • Supporting R&D initiatives and projects;
  • Conducting and analyzing risk assessments and initiating preventive and corrective actions;
  • Logistical coordination of offshore maintenance activities (crew, equipment, vessel, etc.) and coordination tasks at sea;
  • Responsible for the regular provision of fresh water and diesel to the OSS, as well as the transport and proper disposal of waste and blackwater.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, including chemical products and other materials, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure inspection of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifting support equipment in accordance with warehouse procedures and safety standards.

After completing the required training, you will work on the offshore energy facility and be responsible for electrical safety precautions and switching authorizations.
You will assume a range of safety tasks and will report to the local O&M Site Manager.
A hands-on mentality and flexibility are part of your role.
You will regularly be at sea to oversee maintenance activities (and occasionally travel), and you will participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies shared by the entire team.
