Job Description Summary O&M Resident Engineer-Intern will work closely with O&M Advisory Managers to enhance the reliability and availability of Power Plant while reducing costs associated with repairs, downtime, and inefficiencies. The O&M Resident Engineer – Intern apply engineering, and statistical analysis principles to identify potential failures, assess risks, and support the implementation of solutions to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations During this 6 month-1 year assignment, the O&M Resident Engineer-Intern will gain hands-on experience in equipment monitoring, maintenance coordination, and technical reporting while complying with safety, operational and maintenance procedures. Job Description What you will do: Assist O&M Advisory Managers in daily site operations and maintenance activities Work closely with cross-functional teams (O&M engineering, O&M Advisory Team, COE Team) to incorporate reliability principles in O&M daily activities. Collect, process, and analyze system performance and reliability data, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA). Support the conduct of root cause analysis for failures, developing corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future issues. Prepare and present reliability reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and actionable recommendations. Establish reliability metrics and continuously monitor product performance in the field; recommend improvements based on findings. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, logs, and maintenance records and maintain clear and detailed records of all reliability analysis, Always follow HSE rules and company procedures What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Fresh graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent) Basic knowledge of power plants equipment and maintenance concepts. Willingness to travel and accept assignments at different power plants across Algeria. Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) What will make you stand out Proficiency with computer tools Good analytical, reporting and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions Ability to apply statistical methods for process improvement.
