GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The OAG’s Antitrust Division is seeking to hire an experienced, self-driven attorney capable of thriving in a collaborative work environment and independently overseeing cases with complex legal and factual issues. The Antitrust Division is charged with investigating and prosecuting violations of the Texas Free Enterprise and Antitrust Act and federal antitrust statutes. The Division’s caseload consists of highly complex and high-profile investigations and litigation which may involve antitrust violations such as monopolization, conspiracies among competitors, or anticompetitive mergers. Matters investigated or litigated can be local, regional, or national in scope and may be coordinated with other state attorneys general, the Federal Trade Commission, or the U.S. Department of Justice. Licensed attorneys with a demonstrable interest and/or experience in antitrust enforcement or litigation are encouraged to apply.
