The hospitalist position would ideally be someone who is able to work nights , weekends, and day shifts at both SDM(San Diego ) and SMMC (San Marcos).These shifts would mostly be on labor and deliver management laboring patients , evaluating patients in triage, and rounding on postpartum. The applicant would have the option of taking additional hospital calls covering the GYN floor patients , ED consults , and performing urgent GYN surgery if they desired. Responsibilities
The hospitalist will primarily manage laboring patients, evaluate patients in triage, and round on postpartum patients across shifts including nights, weekends, and days at the San Diego and San Marcos locations.
