Learn more about the facility here: https://www.ihs.gov/billings/healthcarefacilities/blackfeet/ Great Rates * Flexible Schedule * CONTACT ME FOR MORE DETAILS Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients across all stages of life Manage prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures within scope of privileges Collaborate with nursing, midwifery, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care Participate in on-call coverage for obstetrics and emergencies as assigned Provide education and counseling to patients regarding reproductive health and family planning Additional Duties Additional duties and responsibilities may be added at any time. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related responsibilities as requested by their supervisor. Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B). Requirements Experience. The OB/GYN shall have a minimum of twelve months (12) in the specialty required. * Experience shall equip the OB/GYN Physician with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the physician services category to be filled. License/Registration. The OB/GYN Physician shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted medical provider license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States. Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. The OB/GYN Physician shall possess a valid state driver’s license. Certifications. The OB/GYN Physicians shall possess current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Degree or Diploma. The OB/GYN Physicians shall possess a degree or diploma from a professional medical program approved by the legally designated state accrediting agency at the time of the program was completed by the applicant.
