Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Contingent OB Scrub Tech – Birthing Center Location: Trinity Health Livonia Hospital Employment Type: Contingent Join our Remarkable Care Team! We are seeking a Contingent OB Scrub Tech to support surgical procedures in the Birthing Center. Under the direction of the RN circulator, you will assist surgeons by preparing and maintaining a sterile field, handling instruments, and ensuring optimal aseptic technique. Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating room and surgical instruments per case requirements. Assist during procedures by providing instruments, sponges, sutures, and medications. Maintain sterile field and participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts. Support room turnover and transport instruments/supplies as needed. Communicate patient care information to the surgical team. Requirements: Associate degree in Surgical Technology OR specialized Armed Forces training OR 2+ years experience as a Surgical Technician.
