We are Hiring a Junior Coordinator (at our events department) A successful Junior Coordinator will support the Events Department. This role is integral to the seamless delivery of a wide variety of luxury events, including weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, and conferences. The successful candidate will assist with all stages of event planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring exceptional client service and flawless guest experiences. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to upholding the estate’s brand standards and reputation for excellence. The Junior Coordinator will report directly to the Events Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning and coordinating weddings, private functions, corporate events, conferences, and other special events, ensuring all logistics are carefully managed. • Support the preparation of proposals, event timelines, function sheets, budgets, and other planning documents to facilitate smooth operations. • Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders. • Maintain accurate event records, documentation, and correspondence throughout the guest journey, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. • Ensure all events are executed to the estate’s high standards, reflecting the brand’s luxury positioning and commitment to exceptional service. • Anticipate potential challenges or issues and proactively propose solutions to prevent disruptions during event planning or execution. • Support the Events Manager with administrative and operational tasks as required, contributing to continuous improvement in departmental processes. Requirements: • 1–2 years of experience in the event or hospitality fields. • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with a meticulous eye for detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels. • Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Opera; familiarity with event management software is an advantage. • Professional, service-oriented, and client-focused attitude, with a positive and collaborative approach. • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
