As an Operations & Business Enablement Solutions Architect, this person will architect and design cloud-native solutions on GCP/AWS, ensuring they align with technology strategy and can be efficiently built and operated to enable business outcomes. They will also provide technical oversight during implementation to maintain alignment with the intended solution and facilitate operational efficiency.

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required
• 3+ years of experience architecting and developing software in the public cloud., including 7+ years overall relevant experience.
• Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.
• Experience in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or node.js
• Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases
• Partner with Engineering, and SREs to analyze any outages or resiliency issues and provide remediation steps
• Experience with microservice best practices and design patterns
• Experience with event driven architecture and immutable data management patterns (CQRS)
• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• Architect, design and implement smart solutions in GCP/AWS using Cloud Native capabilities.
• Establish the high-level Solution Intent for given project or problem statement
• Establish responsibilities of major logical components of the solution in collaboration with other team members
• Develop architecture deliverables necessary to illustrate system behavior, including usage models, and cost of ownership models and failure analysis model
• Ensure that the solution is aligned with the technology strategy, uses standard solution building blocks and can be built and operated in an efficient manner aligned with economic value of the project
• Develop, analyze, split, and prioritize work required to implement the system’s non-functional requirements
• Provide technical oversight of implementation, keeping the final build and overall implementation aligned with the solution intent
