Description
Install, configure, support, and maintain monitoring solutions Manage system monitoring setup and standardization of features and usage. Maintain systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and capacity utilization. Maintain standards of operations, such as backups, naming standards, and configurations. Coordinate planned downtime and software installs of your assigned services. Monitor the environment for potential system issues and resolve appropriately. Continually work to improve operations. Adhere to established service and operational level agreements. Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (enterprise architects, security team, network team, etc.). Required Skills: Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer science Experience with any of the monitoring and observability tools Experience with Infrastructure and Application monitoring, Windows, Linux and Cloud Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Basic scripting knowledge with TypeScript, React, Ansible, and Python scripting Experience in Building dashboards for real-time visibility of system health and performance. Familiarity with ITIL or incident management workflows Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills Exposure in define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets aligned with SRE principles with Engineering teams to support reliability engineering
