Job Details Job Location: 100 LEGENDS BAY DRIVE - SPARKS, NV 89434 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Graveyard Job Category: Security The Surveillance Observer will act as the oversight agent for management and customers of this casino. In addition, be responsible for monitoring all casino floor, cage, and restaurants as well as all the cameras located outside and in the back of the house. Provide daily written activity reports, to include any violations, and suspicious activities to the manager. Support the Surveillance department to make sure the casino assets are safe and secure. Job Requirements: Protect the company’s best interest. Monitor the current activity in and around the casino. Review video of recent activity to research matters at hand. Use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Work independently and unsupervised. Pay attention to the smallest of details. Accurately make and log reports for the department manager. Relay performance, complaints, or violations of any rules/procedures with the Manager. Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience: High School Diploma and/or GED. Previous experience with digital surveillance equipment is preferred. Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have the basic understanding of gaming rules, regulations and how players can cheat. Must have the basic and clear understanding in Table Games and Slots. The ability to read and recognize abnormal body language. The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment. The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management. Must possess strong computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Responsibilities
