Description Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Location: Monroe, New York Compensation: $325,000–$375,000 Base Salary + $50,000 Sign-On Bonus Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join a growing women’s health team in Monroe, New York. This opportunity offers a strong compensation package, balanced scheduling, and the ability to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a collaborative and supportive environment. Position Overview The OB/GYN Physician will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including obstetric care, gynecologic care, preventive health services, reproductive health management, and surgical procedures. Providers will work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while collaborating closely with advanced practice providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary clinical staff. The schedule includes three outpatient or surgical days weekly and one 24-hour hospital call shift per week. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients across all stages of life Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, prenatal care, labor, and postpartum care Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and reproductive health concerns Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries as appropriate Conduct annual wellness exams and preventive women’s health screenings Collaborate with midwives, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and hospital teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Participate in hospital call coverage one 24-hour shift per week Deliver compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care Schedule & Practice Environment Three 8-hour outpatient clinic and/or surgical days weekly One 24-hour hospital call shift per week Balanced mix of OB and GYN cases Established patient panel and referral network Strong clinical and administrative support staff Modern EMR system Collaborative interdisciplinary care model Compensation Base salary ranging from $325,000–$375,000 annually $50,000 sign-on bonus Student loan repayment eligibility up to $100,000 This opportunity is ideal for an OB/GYN physician seeking: Strong compensation and long-term earning stability A balanced schedule with manageable call expectations A collaborative and supportive women’s health environment The opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships Autonomy within a well-supported clinical setting A family-friendly community with excellent quality of life Requirements Required Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Active New York medical license or ability to obtain licensure Strong clinical and surgical OB/GYN skills Ability to manage routine and complex obstetric cases Comfortable practicing in both outpatient and hospital settings Preferred Experience collaborating with midwives and advanced practice providers Commitment to evidence-based, relationship-focused patient care
