THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an Occasional Teacher to join our team, providing instructional support for all classes as needed throughout the school year. The ideal candidate is a flexible, adaptable, and creative educator who thrives in a dynamic school environment. • Deliver engaging and structured lessons, following provided lesson plans or creating supplemental materials when required
• Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that supports individual student growth and development
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Support the social-emotional well-being of all students in your care
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a smooth transition and consistent classroom routines during teacher absences
• Uphold and promote VMA’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions
• Ensure communications and actions reflect professionalism and integrity
