Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees in the workplace. The role involves providing on-site clinical care, promoting occupational health programs, preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government health regulations. Your Responsibilities: Clinical Monitor and record employee vital signs and health status. Provide immediate medical care and first aid for work-related injuries and illnesses. Administer over-the-counter medications as appropriate. Assess medical conditions and facilitate referrals to hospitals or specialists when necessary. Ensure stabilization of patients during on-site emergencies prior to transfer. Maintain readiness of emergency medical equipment and supplies. Administrative & Record Keeping Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee medical records. Manage clinic inventory, including medicines and medical supplies. Record all consultations, treatments, and medical interventions. Ensure proper documentation treatment procedures. Reporting Maintain and update database of medicines procured and dispensed, ensuring accuracy. Track and report workplace illnesses and injuries. Prepare and submit regular health reports and trackers to management. Ensure timely submission of government-mandated reports, including but not limited to: WAIR (Work Accident/Illness Report) AEIDR (Annual Establishment Injury and Disease Report) AMR (Annual Medical Report) Administrative Support Update patient profiles and medical histories to ensure continuity of care. Conduct investigations related to work-related injuries and employee claims. Verify authenticity of medical documents submitted by employees. Assist Compensation and Benefits team with medical-related administrative tasks. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, Code of Conduct, and health regulations.
