We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor to join our team working across our Perth and Regional WA Sites on an as needs basis.
Reporting directly to Operations Manager, the successful candidate will act as a strong and positive example, always demonstrating guidance and leadership.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• C-class license is required
• Relevant HSE/WHS qualification
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, including OSHA, ANSI, and ISO 45001.

• Develop, update, implement and drive safety procedures, policies, systems and processes.
• Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the project Team

· Coordinate site based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.

• Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure the company remains compliant.
• Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
• Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Develop, Conduct Monthly Toolbox Talks
• Conduct regular workplace inspections.
