Your role We are currently seeking applications for a proactive and motivated Occupational Health, Safey and Wellbeing Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of a safe, healthy and supportive work environment across our services. Your contribution will directly support our mission to provide high-quality, person-centred services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care. This role plays a key part in driving service-level occupational health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, working closely with leaders and caregivers to identify, implement and monitor effective risk controls and wellbeing strategies. This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis (four days per week), working collaboratively with local services and the broader Group OHS & Wellbeing team. The Position Design, implement and monitor local OHS and wellbeing initiatives to continuously improve caregiver health, safety and wellbeing. Lead and support OHS risk management processes, including hazard identification, risk assessment, control implementation and monitoring. Investigate, analyse and report on incidents and hazards, and coach leaders and caregivers in effective incident investigation practices. Provide expert advice and act as a trusted advisor to leaders, influencing decision-making to proactively manage OHS and psychosocial risks. Coordinate OHS and wellbeing training, initiatives and committees, and support early intervention, injury management and return to work programs in collaboration with key stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will possess a tertiary or vocational qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Wellbeing or a related discipline, and demonstrated experience in a senior safety or wellbeing role within healthcare, community, disability or welfare settings. You will bring strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, a sound working knowledge of contemporary OHS and workers compensation legislation, and the ability to analyse data, identify trends and drive sustainable improvements in safety performance.
