OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role. This exciting peripatetic opportunity will see you cover client sites across the South Midlands, including Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon & Solihull.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

To be the successful Occupational Health Technician candidate for this role, you’ll be:

  • Previously experienced working within an Occupational Health setting (preferred)
  • Other suitable backgrounds include: Hospital Health Care Assistant; Fitness Instructor; Ambulance EMT; Military Medic; Offshore Medic.
  • Friendly and approachable with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT and digital systems.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledgeable about patient confidentiality and data protection.
  • Strong educational background with good numeracy and written English skills.
  • Full Manual UK Driving License
  • Must have a suitable location to park the Mobile Medical Unit overnight at or near your home and be comfortable with the travel demands of the role, including regular overnight stays. Typically, you will be away from home for around three weeks each month, but you will always return home on Fridays for the weekend.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to provide a mobile Occupational Health Screening Service as part of a first-class Occupational Health team. Your duties will include:

  • Deliver Health Screening including Baseline Measurements (Height, Weight. BP and Urinalysis)
  • Undertake Health Surveillance, and fitness-for-work medicals (including Audiometry & Spirometry)
  • Deliver Health and Wellbeing promotion & advice
  • Maintain all employee records with accurately recorded medical information
  • Ensure all clinic equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition
  • Assist the wider occupational health team with their duties, ensuring accurate collection and documentation of information.
