Description

We’re seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our client located in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a part-time, permanent basis working 3 days per week. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where your ideas are valued and growth is encouraged, read on!

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Background in occupational health.
  • Experience in health surveillance or occupational health, preferably in manufacturing
  • Relevant health surveillance certifications or willingness to train
  • Proficiency in health surveillance practices (e.g., audiometry, spirometry)
  • Strong data management skills with attention to accuracy and compliance
  • Effective communication abilities across all organizational levels

Responsibilities
  • Health Surveillance: Conduct essential health assessments (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, vision screening) to monitor and manage employee health risks.
  • Clinical Assessments & Documentation: Perform pre-placement health assessments, document outcomes, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain precise health surveillance records to support trend analysis and proactive risk management.
  • Employee Support & Engagement: Provide information on health resources, mental health support, and wellness initiatives to support employee wellbeing.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, collaborating closely with HR and health and safety teams.
