Resumen Provide medical care, first aid, and health follow-up to employees in the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate medical records, and promoting employee wellness and preventive programs. Responsabilidades Key Responsibilities Provide first aid and medical attention to employees in case of accidents or health incidents within the facility. Support health promotion programs such as vaccination, wellness campaigns, and preventive screenings. Maintain accurate records of medical incidents, work-related accidents, and employee absences due to illness or injury. Collaborate with the EHS team on accident investigations and prevention programs. Follow up on employees with medical restrictions or occupational health issues. Manage and file documentation required by IMSS (e.g., ST-7, ST-2, ST-9) and ensure timely reporting. Participate in internal and external audits related to occupational health and safety (e.g., STPS, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001). Assist the company doctor with pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical exams. Promote workplace wellness programs focused on ergonomics, mental health, and healthy habits. Ensure proper inventory and functionality of the medical office, first-aid kits, and emergency equipment. Knowledge Requirements Knowledge of STPS regulations related to occupational health and safety (NOM-030-STPS, NOM-017-STPS, NOM-019-STPS). First aid procedures and basic emergency response. Reporting and management of work-related injuries with IMSS. Maintenance of medical records and occupational health documentation. Basic understanding of ergonomics, hygiene, and preventive health campaigns. Desirable: knowledge of ISO 45001 occupational health and safety systems. Skills Strong organization and record-keeping skills. Empathetic communication and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations. Team collaboration across multiple departments (EHS, HR, Production). High ethical standards and confidentiality in medical information. Education Technical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Desirable certification in Occupational Health or Industrial First Aid. Valid professional license required. Experience 1 to 3 years of experience as an Occupational or Industrial Nurse in a manufacturing environment. Experience in managing workplace accidents and health programs is preferred. Tools / Software Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). HR or Medical Record Systems (e.g., TRESS, Workday, SAP). IMSS Digital or SUA platforms.
