EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience is preferred, with a focus on long term care environments.
• Proven experience in case management and understanding of patient care protocols
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
• A valid Occupational Therapy license as required by state regulations.

As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ ability to perform daily activities.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment options, progress, and home care strategies.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards.
• Staying updated on medical terminology and best practices within the field of occupational therapy.
• Providing support in acute care settings, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective therapy services.
