Miami Valley Hospital Occupational Therapist (Acute Care) Full-Time: 40 hours per week | some Weekend days required Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, depending on the assigned service area. We are the region’s most experienced Level I Trauma Center, providing the highest level of care for the most critically injured patients. We have earned accreditation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center for our specialized care of complex strokes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver effective therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving their functional goals. Maintain productivity standards and ensure timely and accurate documentation. Uphold a "Patient First" approach in all interactions and adhere to Miami Valley Hospital’s high customer service standards. As part of a collaborative healthcare environment, you will be a key member of both disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, contributing to the success of the department by assisting colleagues and supporting team initiatives. Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Licensure: Must possess a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by the State of Ohio.
