REQUIREMENTS
ABOUT THE ROLES
The Southport Private Hospital is opening a new Persistent Pain Service, and we are seeking a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in the management of people with Persistent Pain to join and lead this development.
The role is initially for a 6-month fixed term contract, during which time the successful applicants will work alongside the Medical and Nursing teams to develop and grow the service. The expected outcome is that the role will continue past the initial 6 months and become a permanent role, and a subset of the wider Rehabilitation Team, comprising a full Allied Health, Medical, Nursing and Support Services Team.
Experience in the management of individuals with Persistent Pain is very highly regarded.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to manage a diverse caseload and work autonomously, as well as actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to address functional, equipment and service needs of the client population in the rehabilitation setting.
Service provision will mainly comprise inpatient services, and acute care for individuals and groups.
