Job Description 2 days a week school-based role for 12 months (maternity leave cover), with an option to work additional days in the community. Our trusted Aspect Therapy team aim to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families/support network to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. This role is based at Aspect South East Sydney school, which has base sites at Peakhurst and Marrickville, as well as a number of satellite classes (e.g. Leichardt, Croydon, Regents Park). The Occupational Therapist would work closely with the Learning Support Team to achieve the best outcomes for students, through individual, whole class, and whole school supports. We work in partnership with the individual and their families/support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and work with participant's interests. Pre-purchased annual leave is available and will be considered for candidates who may prefer to only work school terms. Qualifications What you bring: Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy At least 1 year of relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist Fully registered with AHPRA Current driver’s licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per km) and willingness to travel from your base at Aspect South East Sydney School (Peakhurst and Marrickville) to local satellite classes. NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance Working with Children Check for paid employment for the state you reside in NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ certificate.
