SNF Position Summary The COTA will provide treatment in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, improve and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and restore function with activities of daily living.  As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will: * Administers the Occupational Therapy treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist. * Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care. * Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation. * Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals. * Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies. Requirements * Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License * Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred * CPR certification * Valid Driver’s License * Valid Auto Insurance * HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred Physical Demands * Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods. * Must be able to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 100 lbs..
