Description This position is a full-time, permanent onsite clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance Columbia. Responsibilities Evaluate patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals. Develop and implement treatment plans, educational programs for patients, and supervise technicians to provide quality patient care by improving mobility & strength, and decreasing future injury for return to functional activities Maintain and provide all documentation for the therapy treatment, utilizing TOA’s EHR/EMR systems. Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families. Discharge patients as appropriate Utilizes EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff. Adheres to Federal and State regulatory laws and rules. Seeks appropriate input as needed. Requirements Current (or pending) licensure in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Master/Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. CPR Certification Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels Experience in fabrication of static and dynamic splinting.
