POSITION OVERVIEW

Collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team at CFB Ottawa, this role offers an Occupational Therapist the opportunity to have a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of today’s Canadian Armed Forces service members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed with the The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• 1 year of experience working with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, mental health, pre and post-surgical conditions, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and/or amputations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• You will be required to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the unique opportunity to work exclusively with military service members. Your responsibilities will include: Evaluating and providing treatments for individuals with a wide range of injuries; utilizing education, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and ergonomic modifications; and collaborating in the prescription of supportive and protective devices.
This role is located at CFB Ottawa Health Services building, near the Montfort Hospital.
